January 24, 2003
5.02 Fix List
Below is the completed and final fix list for Release 5.0.2. There are a total of 827 fixes, which is an additional 11 fixes from the last posting on 6/28/00. Upon further review and validation, Development has updated the 5.0.2 fix list to include the following indirectly fixed SPRs. Indirectly fixed, refers to SPRs that have been addressed indirectly via other changes [fixes] to the 5.0.2 code. The additional fixes are: JJOS4BYRGK, PLAE4A7PVQ, EAVM4BJMN6, TGAN4BRRZV, PLIN4B3RAS, VDSE49RQDS, RIK4AGTQ8, CBAT496NUN, CMCY4BRFG8, KLME4BZQ6D, and KLME4BZQEL.
Release 5.0.2 contained a substantial number of fixes and it required that each and every one be reviewed and summarized into a few technically accurate yet readable sentences. This challenge was greater than anticipated and resulted in an extended delay in finalizing this information for you. We apologize for that delay and thank you for your patience.
The fix list below has been updated to reflect twenty-five regression bugs, which have been noted with a plus symbol "+" before the SPR number. A regression bug is a bug which was introduced in a QMR or QMU and did not exist in previous releases of that code stream. For example, a bug which appears in R5.0.1 but did not exist in R5.0 is a regression.

To sort a particular column in a mail database (in either ascending or descending order), run Notes Designer, open the mail database, access the desired folders/views, and edit the properties of the column to read: "Click on column header to sort: Both". [5.0.1b,5.0.2]
SPR# MDLS4ALMRM - API programs can now open documents in MIME format by using the NoteOpen flags OPEN_RAW_RFC822_TEXT, OPEN_RAW_MIME_PART, or OPEN_RAW_MIME exposed in the SDK in inc\nsfnote.h.
